Racking Accessories

Base Plates

Base Plates are used in both Pallet Racking and Longspan Shelving to secure upright sections to the floor. They are essential elements of safe racking systems and are a standard component of ISS Equipment design and installation.

Board Supports

Board supports are used in both Pallet Racking and Longspan Shelving in conjunction with timber decking to prevent the board from sagging. Board supports are designed to maintain the load capacity of the beam. They do not contribute to increasing the safe workload capacity.

Cable Racking

Cable Racking or Cable Real Suspension is specialist component used in conjunction with Pallet Racking systems for storage of larger cable reels or continuous carpet rolls. They are supported on an axle through the centre of the roll/reel and safely stored on the rack.

Dividers

Dividers are used in both Pallet Racking and Longspan Shelving for separating vertically stored goods. They protect products and improve product access. Dividers come in a range of options to accommodate different types and sizes of stored products.

Fork Entry Bars

Fork Entry Bars are used in conjunction with Pallet Racking to provide forklift access for non-palletised goods such as plasterboard and timber sheets. They raise materials by approx. 72mm above the beam. Fork entry bars allow forklifts to slide the forks underneath the load in the racking.

This is a safer and more reliable solution than using wooden chocks as the entry bars lock into position over the beams preventing any movement on the smooth beam surface.

Frame Spacers

Used in Pallet Racking, Frame Spacers ensure even distance between rows of selective frames and stabilize pallet racking frames when height to the top of the top load is over 6 times the depth of the frame.

Levelling Plates

Positioned underneath footplates, Levelling Plates are used in conjunction with Pallet Racking Systems to ensure the racking structure is vertical and not ‘out of plumb’ and installed within the required leveling tolerances.

Mesh Backing

Used predominantly with Pallet Racking, metal Mesh Backing provides fall prevention for a variety of scenarios. It serves to protect people, product damage and loss.

Mesh Decks

Mesh Decks, used with Pallet Racking and Longspan, are a great alternative to timber boards in creating warehouse shelving. Mesh Decking is stronger, more durable and cleaner, providing protection for operators and forklift drivers working under tunnel bays. Mesh decks allow you to safely store heavier loads than timber board does not hold dust, creating a cleaner application.

Wire Mesh Decking is suitable for small carton storage and picking and storage of non-standard pallet sizes. Mesh Shelving is ideal for use in temperature-controlled warehousing as well as chill stores and freezers as it allows an even distribution of air and temperatures for stored goods.

Timber Decks

Timber Decks, used with Pallet Racking and Longspan, are a cost-effective solution for creating warehouse shelving.

Timber Decks are suitable for small carton storage and picking and storage of non-standard pallet sizes. Timber Decks also offer protection for operators and forklift drivers working under tunnel bays.

Pallet Support Bars

Pallet Support Bars, used in Pallet Racking, are designed to provide added support for non-standard sized pallets.

Safety Pins / Clips

Safety Pins / Clips, used in Pallet Racking and Longspan, are designed to lock racking beams into the frames preventing accidental dislodgement.

Splice Kits

Splice Kits are designed to extend the storage height of the existing frames and are specially shaped to fit tight inside the upright. The 90mm upright splice is to be used when frames are higher than 8,500mm for painted uprights and 12,000mm for pre-galvanised. Each upright connection requires two Splice Plates when extending frame heights.

ISS Equipment inspects Upright Protectors during prescribed Racking Safety Audits we conduct for our clients.
