SINGLE OR DOUBLE ENTRY: IT’S ALL ABOUT EFFICIENCY
All Selective APR from ISS Equipment is available in Single and Double Entry configurations. Generally, a single entry will be positioned against a wall or walkway where the forklift will access from one side only. Double entry runs will be utilised within aisles and be accessed from both sides to save floor space.
SELECTIVE PALLET RACKING APR
Selective Pallet Racking (APR) is the most popular and economical form of pallet racking. Designed for high stock selectivity, is Ideal for warehouses with no floor space limitations and a large number of different product SKU’s.
It requires aisle widths from 2500mm upwards, with standard beam lengths being 1370mm for single entry bays and 2600mm or 2700mm for double entry bays. Walkie straddle stackers require 2700mm beams with straddles on edge.

VERY NARROW AISLE PALLET RACKING (VNA)
Very Narrow Pallet Racking (VNA) is an ideal space saving and productivity option for warehouses that require a fast pick rate with easy access to a large number of different product SKUs, and where the floor space is at a premium.
With minimised aisle widths around 1500-1600mm, all stock is 100% accessible at all times, using specialist forklifts. This high accessibility and selectivity enables fast stock rotation and picking, making Very Narrow Pallet Racking an ideal solution for FMCG, especially food and beverage, as well as fast distribution for 3PL, retail and e-commerce warehousing.
VNA VS SELECTIVE PALLET RACKING APR
VNA and Selective Pallet Racking are similar products. The major difference is the aisle space. Generally the height of VNA racking is also greater than standard selective racking. Very Narrow Pallet Racking Very is a high efficiency, space saving solution that is still quite cost-effective. However, it will require specialist MHE (forklifts) to load and access stored products.

DOUBLE-DEEP ADJUSTABLE PALLET RACKING
Double-Deep Pallet Racking is the most efficient Pallet Racking configurations to increases storage density at a relatively low capital cost. Double-Deep Pallet Racking is a hybrid option combining the benefits of Selective Pallet Racking and high-density Compact Pallet racking.
Wide aisle widths ranging from 2500-4000mm are similar to Wide Aisle Racking but double deep racks store 2 pallets deep or 4 pallets deep between aisles. This can increase storage capacity by 17% over the Standard Wide Aisle Racking option.
Double-Deep Pallet Racking delivers higher storage density and is ideal for operation looking for space saving and selectivity of stock with extra quantities of the same SKU and high throughput rate.
